Once a rising star in Ghana’s music scene, Yaw Siki has opened up about the moment that changed his life—and his belief system—forever.

In a heartfelt interview on 3Music TV, the former secular artist turned preacher revealed that he never truly believed in the second coming of Jesus Christ until a near-fatal accident pushed him to seek divine help.

“I was raised in a Christian home, so I was familiar with God through Christ, but I didn’t truly believe in the second coming,” Yaw Siki confessed.

The Accident That Sparked a Spiritual Awakening

Yaw Siki's turning point came in 2013 when he was involved in a gruesome car crash on the Accra-Tema Motorway. As he lay severely injured on a hospital bed, something stirred within him. With death seemingly near, he asked his brother to bring him a Bible—a moment he now sees as the start of his spiritual transformation.

“I wanted to strengthen my faith, so I began looking for scriptures that would help me grow,” he said.

That experience marked the beginning of a deeper, more personal relationship with God—one that would redefine his purpose and path entirely.
