According to GHOneTV, the court expected Lil Win, born Kwadwo Nkansah, to appear in court on April 1, 2025, following previous directives, but he allegedly failed to show up without a valid reason.

The legal dispute stems from a video Lil Win posted over a year ago, in which he made derogatory statements about Martha Ankomah. Though he issued an apology soon after, the actress rejected it, citing damage to her reputation, and proceeded to file a defamation lawsuit on February 14, 2024.

In her suit, Martha Ankomah is demanding:

  • ₵5 million in damages

  • A proper public apology

  • Additional reliefs as determined by the court

The court has made efforts to encourage a peaceful settlement between both parties. In a session on February 25, 2025, both legal teams were given time to finalise terms. Lil Win was also instructed to appear in court on April 1 to submit a formal apology for approval. However, no action was taken on that day, leading to the latest court warning.

As of now, Lil Win has not responded publicly to the court’s directive or the renewed pressure surrounding the case.

In a recent interview with Nhyira FM, Martha Ankomah reaffirmed her determination to pursue justice.

“I don’t want a dime from him. I want him to do the right thing so people will know that you just can’t do things and get away with it in this country,” she stated.

Despite public calls for reconciliation, the actress remains committed to seeing the matter through to its legal conclusion.

Public Reaction: Fans Divided
