Police open murder investigation after 45-year-old Pamela Munro is found fatally stabbed in her flat. |
The Metropolitan Police have named the woman who was tragically killed in a north London flat as Pamela Munro, 45. Officers responded to a distress call at a residential address in Ayley Croft, Enfield, around 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Ms. Munro was discovered with knife injuries, and despite the rapid response from London Air Ambulance and emergency medical crews, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been notified and is currently receiving support from specially trained officers.
The case has sparked a major murder investigation led by Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, who stated that officers have been working "relentlessly" since the weekend to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We continue to support her family who are understandably devastated. This morning, we arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with Pamela’s death, and he remains in custody,” DCI John said.
