The Anointed Palace Chapel founder clears the air on viral peace letter, Steve Media saga, and recent council reactions |
In a trending TikTok video, Obofour stated that his earlier message to Adom Kyei-Duah was misunderstood and misinterpreted by the prophet’s council. According to him, he never intended to seek peace because, in his words, “there was never any conflict to begin with.”
Reverend Obofour clarified that he holds no grudge or enmity toward Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah and stressed that people should not create unnecessary tension between them.
“You said I should have greeted the prophet to make peace. But I have no problem with him. Nobody is my enemy. I still stand by that statement,” he explained.
He criticized the council of elders for misreading his intentions and failing to understand the true context of his address during a Sunday church service, where he had delivered what he described as a “peace letter”.
The popular pastor also revisited the Steve Media controversy, where a known blogger allegedly affiliated with the Believers Worship Centre was arrested and held in police custody. Reverend Obofour claimed Adom Kyei-Duah disowned the blogger, even though he had previously directed his followers to consume the blogger’s content.
This incident, Obofour explained, led him to issue a 42-hour ultimatum demanding accountability for defamatory content spread about him.
Obofour also addressed another council member who reportedly threatened legal action against him. He questioned the wisdom of the church’s legal team for allowing such actions and emphasized that the back-and-forth was avoidable if the council had approached things differently.
Despite the tension, Reverend Obofour was clear:

“I have no interest in insulting Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah or starting a feud on social media. That’s not who I am.”
He lamented the lack of response from Adom Kyei-Duah’s team in the past, when his name was being defamed by affiliated bloggers, yet they were quick to respond defensively when he raised concerns.
🔹 Social Media Reacts
The video has since gone viral on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, sparking fresh debates among followers of both religious leaders.
Many users applauded Reverend Obofour’s composure, while others criticized the recurring public drama between high-profile pastors in Ghana.
