Rev. Fordjour had previously claimed that an air ambulance and a private jet, which lingered in Ghana before flying to Gran Canaria, Spain, may have been used to transport cocaine and large sums of cash. These claims have since drawn intense scrutiny and backlash.

Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), didn’t hold back. He called for Rev. Fordjour’s immediate arrest unless he provides evidence to support his explosive allegations.
“In other jurisdictions, he would have been blacklisted,” Gyamfi stated.
“If he doesn’t honour the [National Security] invitation and thinks he can hide behind parliamentary privilege, he lie bad. He must be arrested and made to substantiate his claims.”
Gyamfi emphasized that such serious accusations against a sitting government cannot be taken lightly, especially in the absence of concrete evidence.
Unfazed, Rev. Fordjour, who is also the Ranking Member on the Defence Committee, issued a bold response live on the show:
“Sammy, I dare you to call them to come and arrest me right here on the show.”
Fordjour stood by his intelligence-sourced suspicions, demanding greater transparency from National Security regarding the mysterious aircrafts' activities.
Government officials, including Minister of Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu, have dismissed the allegations as baseless, accusing Fordjour of spreading unverified disinformation.

Ofosu even went as far as saying:
“Even my ten-year-old daughter wouldn’t believe these lies.”
What’s Next?
The controversy has ignited fresh concerns about the misuse of political platforms, the responsibility of public officials, and the need for transparent national security protocols.
With no public evidence yet presented, and calls for legal action mounting, all eyes are now on whether Rev. Fordjour will face interrogation, disciplinary action, or manage to substantiate his claims in the days ahead.
